Professional Drug Screening Services

Employment Background Screening of Colorado provides criminal background searches, we also provide comprehensive pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing for a variety of clients, both DOT and non-DOT. We can customize a testing program based on your needs, taking into consideration the type of employee and job that is being performed. We provide a national network of collections sites.

We can create, revise or review your current drug testing policy. Compliance is the key to a successful drug testing program. Ensuring that the appropriate language is in the policy will make certain that all employees understand fully both the expectations of the company and consequences of non-compliance. In Colorado, addressing issues about medical and recreational marijuana is important.

We will look at your current program and help you determine the appropriate level of testing based on general liability and workman’s comp requirements and overall cost efficiency. If you are testing for work comp, there are significant issues to be considered in order to be eligible for benefits.

DOT (DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION) TESTING:

We know how difficult it is to keep up with the constantly changing rules and regulations of the six agencies under the DOT umbrella (FMCSA, FAA, FTA, PHMSA, USCG, FRA), which is why our compliance specialists monitor all changes and modify our client’s DOT compliance programs accordingly.

Certified drug and alcohol technicians conduct drug and alcohol tests using certified and approved SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration) and NHTSA (National Highway Transportation Safety Administration) Breathalyzer and approved drug testing products.

  • FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration)
  • FTA (Federal Transit Administration)
  • FHWA (Federal Highway Administration)
  • FAA (Federal Aviation Administration)
  • FRA (Federal Railroad Administration)
  • RSPA (Research and Special Project Administration)
  • USCG (United States Coast Guard)

To ensure the accuracy and fairness of our testing program, all testing is conducted according to Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) guidelines (where applicable) and will include a screening test; a confirmation test; the opportunity for a split sample. We also offer a review by a Medical Review Officer, including the opportunity for employees who test positive to provide a legitimate medical explanation, such as a physician's prescription, for the positive result; and a documented chain of custody. Our results are private and confidential.
